Adverbs

• Adverbs of manner (HOW?): They describe how an action is performed.

  Examples:

• Adverbs of time (WHEN?): They indicate when an action takes place.

  Examples:

  • We will go tomorrow.

• Adverbs of place(WHERE?): They specify where an action occurs.

  Examples:

  • She looked everywhere.
  • The book is here.

• Adverbs of degree (HOW MUCH?): These adverbs modify adjectives, adverbs, or other words to indicate the intensity, extent, or level of something. They help provide a clearer picture of the degree or intensity of a quality or action.

  Examples:

  • She is very intelligent.
  • It’s quite hot outside.

• Adverbs of frequency (HOW OFTEN?): They describe how often an action occurs. For example:

  • I always go for a run in the morning.
  • He rarely eats fast food.
